Through SMS, or 'Short Messaging Service,' you can send text messages and files as attachments in messages. You can also send songs stored on the phone itself or a memory card to other users. This allows you to share music without the need for a computer or an email server. Be sure to verify with the cellular provider that SMS is covered in your calling plan before sending any messages in order to avoid extra charges.
Open the 'Messaging' menu and select 'New Message' or 'New.' The messaging menu is found either in the main menu or the homescreen of the phone.
Select 'Options' from the lower menu when the new message window is open.
Go to 'Send File' or 'Add Attachment' and select 'Song' or 'Music.' A new menu with all the available songs on the device opens up.
Click on the song you want to send. The song is now added to the message.
Type any desired text and add the recipient. Click 'Send.' The message has been sent and the other user can open the file and listen to the song on their phone.

Whether you download music from the iTunes store or burn it into the library from a CD, your iTunes media files resides in a special folder that you can access whenever you like. You can even share your favorite iTunes songs with friends using an email client. While it's not difficult to attach a song file to an outgoing email message, it takes a little work to discover the folder that holds your iTunes media files.
Step 1
Log in to your email client and compose a message the way you normally do. Click the button that allows you to add an attachment to the message. If you need help finding that button, consult the email client's help. After you click the button, a window prompts you to navigate to the folder that contains files you'd like to attach.
Step 2Send Email Via Powershell
Navigate to the following iTunes folder: C:UsersusernameMy MusiciTunes Replace 'username' with the username you use to log into your computer. If you're using an iTunes version that's greater than 8.2.1, you'll see an 'iTunes Media' subfolder in the iTunes folder. Otherwise, you'll see another folder named 'iTunes folder.'

Double-click the 'iTunes Media' or 'iTunes' subfolder to display the Music subfolder. Double-click that subfolder, and you'll see one or more subfolders that contain your iTunes music. One subfolder's name, for instance, may match a song's name or the recording artist's name.
Double-click one of those subfolders and then double-click the song you'd like to attach to your email message.

How to Email a ZIP File
Now that you've made the file that you're going to email, you can attach the ZIP file to the email. However, much like how creating a ZIP archive is unique for different systems, so too is it different sending email attachments in different email clients.
There's a separate set of steps to send ZIP files with Outlook, Outlook.com, Gmail.com, Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail, etc. However, it's important to realize that sending a ZIP file over email requires the exact same steps as it does to send any file over email, whether it be a JPG, MP4, DOCX, etc. - the only difference is seen when comparing the different email programs.
For example, you can send a ZIP file in Gmail using the small Attach files button at the bottom of the message box. The same button is used to send other file types like pictures and videos.
Why Compressing Makes Sense
You could avoid sending a ZIP file and simply attach all of the files individually but that doesn't save any space. When you compress files in a ZIP archive, they use less storage and are usually then able to be sent.
For example, if you don't compress several documents that you're sending over email, you might be told that the file attachments are too large and that you can't send all of them, resulting in you having to send multiple emails just to share them. However, if you were to compress and ZIP them first, they should take up less space and the email program might then let you send them all together in the one ZIP file.
Fortunately, many documents can be compressed to as little as 10% of their original size. As an additional bonus, compressing the files packs all of them neatly into a single attachment.
